My Health Story

In August 2022, I found myself in an ER bed with numb hands and feet, a racing heart and a body I no longer recognized. They ran every test they could based on my symptoms.

Every test came back fine. I was the picture of health, yet I felt anything but healthy. After five days in fight-or-flight, the truth finally surfaced: it was a panic attack.

That moment cracked something open. My symptoms weren't there to cause me pain and suffering — they were love letters. My body had been trying to speak to me, showing me the places where I had been living disconnected from my inner knowing, my needs and the truth.

The months that followed were some of the hardest I had ever lived. I began healing bio-individually and multi-dimensionally and discovered that beneath the panic lived years of unprocessed trauma, abuse and abandonment.

I grew up in tense, unsafe environments. Therefore, I felt tense and unsafe within my own home — my body. I had to reprogram, relearn and redefine "home" by building safety, softness and peace within my own body.

As I shed layers of fear, shame, perfectionism and old survival patterns, my body released what it had been holding. That's what happens when you uncover and address the root causes of symptoms rather than trying to solely treat the symptoms. You set yourself free and are given your innate soulutions for healing.

I let go of everything that no longer supported me: taboo diets, forced workouts, toxic relationships, emotional suppression, working an unfulfilling 9-5 job that led to burnout and pharmaceutical drugs.

And I turned toward what nourished me: intuitive eating and movement, gut health, uplifting community, healing trauma at the root, redefining success as how I feel over what I do, pursuing my soul’s mission and getting off hormonal birth control.

During the first six months off contraceptives, I experienced waves of PMS symptoms, heightened emotions and fluctuating energy levels. At first, I resisted it because it had been so long since I truly felt anything.

Then I remembered: this is the beauty and gift of being a woman.

Women were never biologically designed to function like men. Our energy has tides. Our womb has seasons. And once I honored those innate rhythms instead of fighting them, everything shifted.

I began to cycle sync naturally, aligning with the ebbs and flows of my womb, the rise and crash of my energy and the wisdom of each phase of my cycle. I learned that PMS symptoms are not "normal," they're messengers of imbalanced hormones.

My symptoms became my coordinates on how to nourish myself, move intuitively and build a relationship with my body instead of trying to shrink it and fit into the mold of a world that was never meant for me.

Just like nature, the woman's body moves through its own sacred four seasons every month. Reconnecting with this flow gave me the ability and privilege to create, sustain, release and surrender, to be the co-creator of my life.

Cycle syncing reminded me of the interconnectedness between nature and women, something we've always known but have been programmed to forget.

We as women are the original timekeepers, connected to the rhythms and four coordinates of the Native American Medicine Wheel, lived not only through the menstrual cycle, but in the four seasons, the four phases of the moon, the four dimensions of health, the four stages of creation, the four stages of transformation through metamorphosis.

This is where the inspiration from The Sacred Four emerged — the framework that now lives and breathes in everything I do, and the philosophy that guides my work and my life.

My Philosophy

We are spiritual beings with human bodies as our vehicles, reincarnated to learn lessons, fulfill our mission and love one another along the way. It is through the human condition that we have the honor of living as multi-dimensional beings through the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realms. With the human experience comes the physical symptoms that exist.

When we become out of touch with our bodies, we become out of trust with our bodies. And when we neglect the love letters from our bodies, symptoms are reflected in our bodies.

They are a test to return to our inner knowing, our inner compass. Just as a monarch can sense direction through a magnetic compass during their yearly migration, so can we. The body is the compass, and the symptoms are the coordinates telling us where to go.

With deep respect and gratitude for the Indigenous traditions that inspire my framework, I use the wisdom of the Sacred Four directions of the Medicine Wheel — North, East, South, West — as a transformative guide for my clients.

While many traditional teachings begin in the East to mark the dawn of a new year, I begin in the North, honoring the rhythm of the feminine body and the menstrual cycle — the inner winter, the void, the sacred pause before transformation and creation.

Each service I offer follows this spiral of evolution, inviting you to move around the wheel to begin and return again and again to your center, where balance and wholeness reside.

There is big magick within you — there always has been. It's time to reconnect with your internal compass, transform into your most authentic way of being and spread your wings to fly toward your deepest desires awaiting your return home in your body.

Why the Monarch Butterfly?

Monarchs have long symbolized trust, strength, endurance, spirituality, transformation and evolution. Each fall, they embark on a 2,500-mile journey south for hibernation, flying high in the clouds in cosmic connection with the sun through their antennas and the earth's magnetic field through their internal compass. Even on the cloudiest of days, monarchs find their way, trusting their inner light and knowing to guide them home.
